Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

Shift Clock does not collect any information about you.

Your data

The shifts, absences and settings you enter are stored on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, they also sync through your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. Only you can access that database; the developer cannot see it.

What the app doesn't do

Notifications and Face ID

Clock-in reminders and overtime alerts are scheduled on your device. If you turn on the Face ID lock, iOS handles the check; the app never receives your biometric data.

Files you create

Backups and monthly PDFs are files you choose to save, print or share. Where they go is up to you.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove what's on your phone. To remove the iCloud copy, go to iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage, choose Shift Clock, and delete its data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
